Personal computers usually belong to their users and provide them with access to all functions and applications. However, at public access (Internet) terminals users will only have access to contents the operator of the terminal wants them to access. All other functions and applications will be restricted. In addition, the terminal operators may want the kiosk run for a long time without any human intervention, which would require a software providing a high level of security as well as extensive control management.
The right mouse button can be switched off completely, all buttons can be set to send left-clicks, mouse clicks can be restricted to a particular area of the screen and much more.

The only button that remains functional is your left mouse button.
Run the program, do your stuff and click on the icon in the systray to restore your (normal) mouse settings.  Particularly useful when Flash games are used.
    - Finally "Merge Mouse Buttons" is here, all 3 mouse buttons (left - right and middle) act like a left mouse button.
It doesn't matter which button is pressed the computer will always think it's the left mouse button! - Restricted Mouse Click area' for instance is a function we had a lot of requests for.
Just blocking the right mouse button just wasn't enough, your little sunshine could still reach the start button and send your tax docs to the recycle bin
or he / she could start an unexpected journey on the WWW if you weren't watching!
Click 'Set Click Area' a transparent form pops up so you can see the underlying screen, drag a box to set the area in which
you allow mouse clicks, et voila! - Block All Keys, just like it says disables your keyboard. Use it when your kids are watching a DVD or for instance in a store to prevent
customers from messing around with the computers displayed! - Exit password, ask for a password when users want to return to a normal mode / fully operational keyboard. if the password
entered is false the computer keeps running in restricted mode. - Blocks multimedia keys like browser, e-mail, etc.
Now you can use 3 shortcut keys which makes operating the program a lot easier, do you want to help a user, press
CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-E to temporary enable mouse and keyboard, press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D to disable them back again.
CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-Q quits the program, which is especially handy if you restricted the click area and you're not able to click

The BasicBrowser will only let them surf on the 'approved web sites', click requests on ads, other websites which url is different from the one you specify will be simply ignored. 
You can lock the screen, this removes the scroll bars this way the 'action area' always stays centered in your browser.
Locking the browser will (temporarily) disable the websites buttons preventing the user from 'surfing away' Why BasicBrowser instead of your regular browser?- Users are not able to enter anything in the address bar and visit unwanted websites.
- Users are only allowed to visit the sites you want them to visit.
- Users can not visit the 'favourites' / 'bookmarked websites'.
- Users can not mess up your browsers configuration settings.
- Use the browser more 'focused' without being distracted thanks to the 'lock browser / screen' buttons and in combination with the BasicMouse keyboard and mouse settings.
- Users can not accidentally visit a website listed in the (address bar) history.
