BasicBrowser is a straight forward web browser build to let users discover the internet safely without the risk they visit sites you don’t want them to visit.
The main advantage of the BasicBrowser is it doesn’t respond on clicks if that means the browser has to leave the permitted url for example to visit an advertisement!

BasicBrowser lets you easily add / remove websites you allow your users to visit.
From the Options menu choose ‘manage websites’

Add or remove websites with the plus and minus buttons, check or uncheck the checkbox in front of an item to temporarily enable or disable a website.

What’s what?

• Lock screen: pinpoint the position of you browser (vertically) on the screen.
• Lock browser: disable all controls on the screen, except for the back and next buttons
• Force Topmode: when checked basicbrowser will always be the topmost window

There’s a security check if you click on the paypal button preventing users from starting up a regular internet explorer, if you do want to donate something to keep BasicBrowser alive please enter ‘basicbrowser’  and make my day ;)

• Screen resolution: quickly change you screen resolution

You can enter a proxy server (Options menu – set proxy server), specify the hostname or IP address and port number

Live Update

Check for updates (Options menu – Check for BasicBrowser update) with the live update function.
